Apple Watch Users Can't Enjoy Twitter App No More

From TechCrunch's report we can know Twitter's iTunes App Store page no longer notes compatibility with the Apple Watch. Keep on reading for more details. Twitter confirmed to Social Pro Daily that its native Apple Watch app is no more, citing a move to focus on notifications. A Twitter spokesperson said in an email to Social Pro Daily, “We heard from people that notifications were the most helpful part of the Apple Watch Twitter experience. With this, we are focusing on supporting more robust, media-rich notifications. We are committed to providing the very best Twitter experience on iPhone, iPad, Apple TV and Apple Watch, and we'll continue to iterate and improve our apps across all platforms.”

When Twitter rolled out version 7.8 of its iOS app Tuesday, the Apple Watch was removed from the list of compatible devices. However, the Apple Watch will now feature notifications equivalent to those on the iPhone, which are more robust and media-rich, enabling Apple Watch users to see images and respond directly via their devices.
