NetEase’s stab at bringing the complexity of multiplayer survival games to mobile when it released on China’s App Store last Halloween, LifeAfter, has scavenged an estimated $125 million to date from players worldwide according to Sensor Tower Store Intelligence data. The game had its official launch in the United States and other Western markets on February 28.

Since its international release, LifeAfter has earned nearly $360,000 from U.S. players, with the overwhelming majority of its revenue coming from China. Players there have contributed about 97 percent of all revenue so far, or more than $121 million, outside of the country’s third-party Android stores which aren’t factored into our estimates.

Although it’s still early days for this original IP here in the U.S., its growth trajectory looks strong and the title’s second week revenue was up 72 percent over its first. So far, it has reached more than one million U.S. players, with installs worldwide totaling nearly 15.5 million to date.
