Supercell’s Brawl Stars Earns $200 Million in its First Four Months

Supercell’s latest release has just been upgraded. According to Sensor Tower Store Intelligence estimates, Brawl Stars has exceeded $200 million in worldwide player spending across the App Store and Google Play when it was launched globally on December 12. This is an additional $50 million on top of the $150 million we showed the game had grossed in its first 90 days. Apprb would like to share the details with you.

To put this into perspective, this sum is five times the $40 million we estimate was grossed by Tencent’s PUBG Mobile in its first four months of offering in-app purchases across both stores, excluding China.

Players in the United States have spent the most so far in Brawl Stars—but not by much. Our data shows the U.S. with a slight lead over South Korea—21 percent versus 19 percent—with the countries bringing in $42 million and $38 million, respectively. Last month, South Korea pulled ahead with 27 percent of spending, compared to 17 percent for the U.S.

To date, Brawl Stars has been installed by more than 87 million App Store and Google Play users worldwide. During Q1, it was the No. 8 mobile game in terms of global installs and No. 11 for revenue, ahead of Supercell titles Clash of Clans and Clash Royale at No. 12 and No. 22, respectively.
