Amazon Will Shut Down Underground Actually Free Soon

Many android users must be familiar with the Amazon's Underground store, which allows users to download certain apps for free. However, Amazon plans to end this program. This post will share more details with you. And if you want boost app rank, apptop25.com can be your best choice.

We all know the app store was launched in 2015 and allowed users to do download apps for free, while app developers continued to get their 70 percent of revenue share. The idea was to reward developers for building compelling apps while convincing consumers to download their apps from Amazon's app store instead of through rivals like Google or Apple. At first, Amazon hoped to attract more users with some free apps.

Amazon is debuting similar programs in which it pays developers to build apps, or skills, that improve the company's Alexa digital assistant that people can speak with to do things like play music or order food. The retail giant could be shifting its resources to attract more outside coders who specialize in building software for Alexa, which the company is betting will be the future of how people interact with their devices—whether using phones or Amazon's Internet-connected Echo speaker.

According to the official announcement we can know that Amazon will stop accepting new app and game submissions on May 31. And they also announced the existing “Underground” developers would continue to get paid for every minute customers spend in “Underground” apps and updated to existing apps can be submitted and published until 2019.
